REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
BENEFIT CONSULTING AND BROKER SERVICES
The City of Minot is requesting qualification of consultant/broker to assist with strategically planning, designing, negotiating and implementing the best coverage and cost for selective employee benefit programs to include Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Ancillary/Voluntary Benefits. This is not a request for insurance coverage.
Each submittal must, at minium, contain the following:
- History of firm, its industry specialization, insurance focus or expertise.
- Brief biographies of your professional staff who would serve the City fo Minot and a description of the roles of each.
- Describe the service delivery capabilities of your office that would insure the timely completion of the desired services.
- Authorization that the agency is licensed in the State of North Dakota to be able to provide services.
- A representative list of major clients. Including at least three contact names and phone numbers that we may contact as references.
CONSIDERATION CRITERIA
- The specialized knowledge, experience, and performance history of the agency in performing the services requested.
- Responsiveness of the proposal.
- Fees.
- Recommendation from references.
- Any other factors that make the selection particularly appropriate of inappropriate.

The City reserves the righ to accept or reject any or all proposals or parts thereof; to accept one of more items within the proposal without obligation as to the other items; and to waive an informalities or irregularities. Any award or acceptance will be made in the best interests of the City, at the sole discretion of the City.
