The invitation to bid to construct the City of Minot’s fifth fire station was released Dec. 30. The opportunity to submit bids closes at Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.
The bids include a general contract, mechanical contract, and an electrical contract. Bids received after the designated closing time will not be accepted. Approved bids will be opened and publicly read on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. in City Council chambers.
The project will build a new fire station in northwest Minot, along Fourth Avenue NW.
“This is an exciting project for the City of Minot to provide a higher level of protection for the citizens of northwest Minot with a reduction in response times to that area,” Fire Chief Kelli Kronschnabel said.
