MINOT STATE UNIVERSITY LICENSE – MSU BEAVER BOOSTER CLUB DBA MINOT STATE UNIVERSITY

The City received a request for the Minot State University license from MSU Beaver Booster Club dba MSU. All documentation and inspections relating to the proposed premises have been approved by the Police Chief, Building Official and Fire Marshal.

It is recommended the City Council approve the MSU License for MSU Beaver Booster Club dba Minot State University.

9.1.

ENTERPRISE FUND POLICY FOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF MINOT & MINOT CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU (MCVB)

Presented by Jonathan Rosenthal, AICP, Economic Development Administrator.

This policy for the MCVB Recruitment Management Plan is a follow-up to the approval of a legal agreement adopted by the City Council at its regular meeting on December 21, 2020.

Recommend approval of policy pertaining to December 21, 2020 Enterprise Agreement with Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc. (MCVB).
9.2.

CITY HALL REHABILITATION CONSULTANT SELECTION (4466)

Last year the city council authorized the purchase of the former Wells Fargo Building for a new city hall. Staff has since been working to secure a consultant to perform architectural services for the City. A consultant selection committee comprised of four city staff and Ald. Olson is recommending JLG to perform architectural services for this project. 

1. Recommend Council select JLG as the architectural consultant for the project. 
2. Authorize the city engineer to negotiate a scope and fee.
3. Authorize the mayor to sign the agreement.
