Sport and recreation is firmly embedded in our culture, with research showing that the majority of the people of Minot directly participate in or support some form of activity. The city government of Minot emphasizes both the community value of physical activity and the considerable value of the sport and recreation sector to the grassroots economy. Our goal through this introductory guide is to acquaint visitors, tourists and residents with the amenities, opportunities and facilities available at their disposal so that their lives are enriched through quality recreation, cultural experiences and community services that ultimately benefit the quality of life for all of Minot’s residents.
