Traffic on 16th Street Southwest will be temporarily reduced to two lanes of head-to-head traffic between 35th Avenue Southwest and 37th Avenue Southwest beginning Oct. 11 for asphalt paving work.
Starting tomorrow morning, the east half of the roadway will be closed to vehicles for two blocks, with head-to-head traffic diverted onto the west half of the roadway. On Friday, Oct. 13, head-to-head traffic will be diverted back to the east half of the roadway while paving work is completed on the western half.
Two lanes of 16th Street Southwest between 35th Avenue Southwest and 37th Avenue Southwest will be open to traffic at all times. Paving is expected to be completed and the roadway completely reopened to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
