The City of Minot has made temporary changes to two city transit bus routes due to road construction, according to Brian Horinka, City of Minot Superintendent of Vehicle Maintenance/Transit.
West Route: Beginning April 20, due to construction on 2nd Ave. SW, this route will turn north onto 18th St. SW off of 2nd Ave. SW and continue on to Central Avenue West. It will then turn west on Central Avenue West and continue to 25th St. NW, where it will turn north and continue on the normal route.
West Route and North Central Route: Beginning April 24, due to construction in downtown Minot, both the West and North Central routes will continue east on 2nd Ave. SE to 3rd St SE, then turn south on 3rd St. SE to Burdick Expressway, where they will turn west and continue to the Municipal Auditorium. Passengers from Milton Young Towers will need to flag down the bus on Burdick Expressway at the corner of 2nd St. SE.
Horinka said these changes will be reflected on the live bus tracking web portal on the City of Minot’s website and on the RouteShout Mobile App.
