CHILD SAFETY SEAT INSPECTIONS

The Crime Prevention Unit will offer Child Safety Seat Inspections for infant seats, car seats and boosters, by appointment.
We will require the child seat manufacturer’s instruction manual(s), the vehicle owner’s manual, and ideally the child(ren).
If you do not have these (i.e. lost manuals, child not born yet/expectant mother, etc.), we can still do the inspection, however, please let us know when you call/email for the appointment.

Inspections for one seat can take up to 30 min or more (multiple seats can be around 45 or more depending on how many seats come in). Inspections are very detailed and can’t be properly or effectively completed in 5-10 minutes, so please plan accordingly when setting up your appointment.

To make your appointment, please contact Sr. Officer Moss.

These service is also offered by First District Health Unit and the Ward County Sheriff’s Office.
