February 13th: In observance of Presidents’ Day, all City offices will be closed Monday February 16th, 2015. City busses will run their normal daytime routes. The Minot Fire Department, the Minot Police Department and the water treatment plant will be fully staffed. Residents who normally have garbage collected on Monday will have collection on their next scheduled day.
January 30th: Minot's City Manager Lee Staab testified yesterday before the ND House Appropriations Committee in support of HB1176, which would return 60 percent of the gross production tax to oil-producing counties in western North Dakota.
